Lenten Lectures 2025

The Jesuit Institute South Africa will present a series of Lenten lectures starting tomorrow night, 11 March.

As we celebrate the Jubilee Year as "Pilgrims of Hope", the theme of these lectures is "A Journey Towards Hope and Transformation". The focus of each lecture is being a "pilgrim of hope" while condsidering one of the Universal Apostolic Preferences ie. Showing the Way to God, Walking with the Excluded, Journeying with Youth, and Caring for our Common Home.

The lectures will be held via Zoom on a Tuesday evening during Lent starting at 19h00. Find the link here.

There is no cost involved but donations are welcome.
